About Me

Evelyn Mendoza or ChickenQueen - depending on who you ask - grew up in the Puget Sound area in Washington. First generation college student and daughter to immigrant parents. On the road to studying veterinary medicine, she soon discovered an interest in writing comics. It all started when she joined her first Original Character Tournament, "Flamin-Go". After graduating from Pierce College with an Associates in Science Track 1, she transferred to The University of Washington Tacoma. Earning her Bachelor's in Art, Media, and Culture. Her background in biology blending with her artistic skills, serving her well when designing creatures.
